Hi my name is Giovanni Torres, Gio works though. I graduated from International Academy of Design and Technology Chicago in february 2010 with a BFA in Graphic Design. I have been working at Playboy Enterprises for a little more than a year, as an intern in the Product Marketing division. During my year here I have gained countless experience, and opportunities. Through Playboy, my work has been printed in Playboy Magazine, my retail signage has displayed in Playboy's stores, mainly their store in The Palms Las Vegas (which has been shown on TV through Playboy's Shows Such as Kendra and The Girls Next Door), but also internationally in their satellite stores in Asia and Australia. I also have created graphics and patterns that are
applied to many different media, such as Playboy Apparel and Home
Products, which have been sold in retail stores like Spencer's and
KMart. |

My design style is fairly clean and geometric, though I have no problem adapting to the project at hand, whether it be corporate logo branding or creating show posters for independent bands. I subscribe to the idea that Mossimo Vignelli so elequently put "if you can design one thing, you can design anything" I enjoy cycling, live music, and am a huge movie buff.
